Hi Mary, and a warm welcome to the forums! ?
Yes, buy I'm a bit shocked that 10.3.x hasn't given you more Internet problems... the whole deal with the Internet these days is Bloat/Money/Updates. ?
Your G5 can run Tiger or Leopard.
Tiger Requirements...
To use Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, your Macintosh needs:
* A PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
* Built-in FireWire
* At least 256 MB of RAM (I'd say 1GB)
* DVD drive (DVD-ROM), Combo (CD-RW/DVD-ROM) or SuperDrive (DVD-R) for installation
* At least 3 GB of free disk space; 4 GB if you install the XCode 2 Developer Tools (I'd say 12GB)
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1514
The big trouble is going to be finding a Retail Tiger Install Disk!
Leopard requirements...
* Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
minimum system requirements
* 512MB of memory (I recommend 2GB+)
* DVD drive for installation
* 9GB of available disk space I recommend 40GB+)
You have to call Apple & ask for a Product Specialist to get it.
See Tom's, (Texas Mac Man), great info on where/how to find/get Tiger...

Download Netflix Movies Mac Os X 10 11
I recently tried watching a Netflix movie on a data projector and it would not work. I have subscribed to Netflix, but my data projector is old and Netflix have a copy protection on their service that won’t let you play to older data projectors. Thankfully there is a way around this. You just need to set your web browser to an older version, and it will use an older piece of technology to play the movie which will work on an old data projector.
May 20, 2020 The last option how to watch Netflix movies and shows offline on a Mac is the least convenient one, and we recommend it only as a last resort. Apps like Movavi let you capture a selected part of the screen and save the recording as a regular video file. Friendly for Netflix 2.1 for Mac is available as a free download on our software library. This Mac app is a product of Oecoway Inc. Our antivirus scan shows that this Mac download is virus free. Friendly for Netflix was developed to work on Mac OS X 10.6 or later. The program lies within Audio & Video Tools, more precisely General.
The error I was getting in Netflix was something like this.

The key to getting Netflix to play on an older data projector is to tell Safari to pretend to be an older version.
- Make sure the Safari Develop menu is enabled in Safari ( see this article on how to enable the development you in Safari).
2. Under “User Agent” type in the following:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_7; de-de) AppleWebKit/525.28.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.2.3 Safari/525.28.3
This is telling Safari to act as version 3 of the Safari browser.
3. Go back to the Netflix site and it will prompt you to install a plug-in called ‘Silverlight’. This is because older versions of Safari couldn’t play movies and they needed a plug-in. Thankfully, this older Plug in works with older data projectors that do not have HDCP data protection.
4. When you click ‘Install Now’ it will download the Silverlight installer into your Safari downloads folder. You will need to click on the Silverlight installer to install it.

5. That’s it! Now you should be able to watch the Netflix movie on your data projector.
If you quit your browser and then go back to Netflix and want to watch a movie on the data projector you will need to go to the develop menu again and type in the code. You won’t need to reinstall the Silverlight plug-in each time.
